I am a Guitar and Bass teacher,
with over 9 years teaching
experience, offering private
tuition catering to all skill
levels. I am also
experienced in teaching singing
as an accompaniment to guitar
playing.
Throughout my years of
teaching, I have taught at
various music schools as well as
primary schools, while also
maintaining my own private music
teaching business catering to
all ages and skill
levels.
Working with children certified
As a part of Melbourne’s
thriving music scene, I have had
extensive experience playing
gigs throughout Victoria and
Australia, highlighted by
performances with International
artists such as Terence
Blanchard, Mirko Guerrini and
Jim Black (AlasNoAxis).
I am also experienced in
music production and can use
these skills to help students
record their own music
I enjoy teaching all styles of music and
am experienced in everything from Rock,
Pop and Contemporary music to Folk,
Jazz, Funk, R’n’B and Metal.
I pride myself on having a
flexible teaching style and being able
to adjust accordingly for
each students preference. I
also focus on helping students play
songs and pieces of music that they
choose, to help nurture and grow their
passion for music while achieving their
goals.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Jazz and
Popular Music Performance from Monash
University. And a partially
completed Masters in
Teaching from Monash as well.
I am based in Melbourne. For the
student’s convenience I am more than
happy to come to you for lessons.
I also teach from my home studio
space where I also write and record
music (in Kensington).
